Special Finance Manager + F&I Relief
Murray Auto Group is looking for an experienced Special Finance / Financial Services Manager to help launch and grow our Special Finance program across Murray Honda and Murray Mazda in Chilliwack.
This is a part-time opportunity designed for a finance professional who enjoys structuring credit-challenged deals and wants the opportunity to build a subprime pipeline from the ground up while maintaining better work-life balance than a traditional full-time F&I role.
We are launching dedicated Special Finance websites and lead channels and are looking for someone who can help us develop the process, work with lenders, and convert these opportunities into delivered deals.
This role also provides F&I coverage and overflow support across both stores, ensuring consistent finance coverage for the group.
What the Role Looks Like
Typical schedule will include:
• Tuesday – Mazda: Full finance desk coverage
• One additional weekday – Honda: Special Finance and overflow support
• Optional Saturdays: Opportunity for additional deals during high traffic periods
In addition, this role will provide finance coverage during vacations, sick days, and other absences, ensuring the dealerships always maintain full F&I coverage.
Because of this responsibility, the schedule will occasionally expand during vacation periods, providing additional earning opportunities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Handling Special Finance and credit-challenged deals
• Working leads generated through our new subprime websites and credit applications
• Contacting applicants and gathering required documentation
• Structuring approvals with lenders
• Building lender relationships for non-prime financing
• Helping develop our internal Special Finance process
• Providing finance coverage during scheduled days off and vacations
• Ensuring all deals are compliant, accurate, and fundable
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and helping customers secure approvals when other lenders may have declined them.
Special Finance Experience Required
Applicants should have direct experience structuring approvals for customers with challenged credit and working with non-prime lenders.
Experience with lenders such as:
• Santander
• LendCare
• Rifco
• iA Auto Finance
• or similar Special Finance lenders
is considered a strong asset.
Qualifications
• Previous Automotive Financial Services / F&I Manager experience
• Experience working with both prime and subprime financing
• Strong lender communication and deal structuring ability
• Excellent attention to detail and compliance discipline
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Valid VSA licence (or ability to obtain one)

Performance-based compensation plan including:
• Base compensation
• Commission on delivered deals
• Special Finance growth bonuses
• Coverage compensation when managing a full finance desk
